One accused of making terroristic threats at Cassopolis Public Schools
CASS COUNTY, Mich. – One person was arrested after allegedly making threats at Cassopolis Public Schools, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported.
On Sunday, Cassopolis Schools received a tip saying that an individual was making threats of violence at the school.
The Sheriff’s Office also received a tip through their tip line.
Cassopolis School officials and Sheriff’s Office deputies investigated the threat and identified the subject.
A strong and visible police presence was stationed at the school on Monday morning and the subject was detained for questioning.
Statements and information obtained on Sunday and Monday led to the arrest of the suspect on charges of terroristic threats.
The suspect is currently at the Cass County Jail.
