Amidst several rounds of storms, some could be severe today
LA GRANGE, Ind. -- One building was destroyed and a second was damaged in a fire Wednesday morning, according to firefighters.
The fire started just before 9 a.m. in one building in the 500 block of S. 250 W, but it spread to the building next to it.
The building where the initial fire started was destroyed, the other was damaged.
By the time firefighters arrived, all of the occupants were outside. One person was treated at the scene by EMS.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters from La Grange, Shipshewana and Topeka all responded to the fire.
The fire was extinguished around 11:30 a.m.
