LA PORTE, Ind. -- At approximately 2:05 a.m. on Sept. 1, the La Porte County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 8400 north block of C.R. 500 East.
A beige Buick Century was traveling north on C.R. 500 East when it went off the east side, came back onto the roadway traveling across both lanes and left the west side of the roadway before colliding with a tree.
The driver, 29-year-old Brandy B. Hardway of Buchanan Michigan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Toxicology results are pending with no further information at this time.
