Elkhart man admits stealing thousands, pleads guilty to wire...
ELKHART, Ind. -- At least one person is hurt after a shooting at an Elkhart bar early Sunday morning.
Elkhart County Dispatch says it happened in the 700 block of County Road 6 at Jimmy Squids Hideout at 2:50 a.m.
When officers arrived to the scene they were unable to locate any witness to the incident.
They were able to locate a scene in the parking lot and found shell casings.
A Kia Sportage was found in the parking lot that had the rear window shattered from what appeared to be from a bullet.
Officers were unable to locate anyone at the scene with injuries.
St Joseph Hospital contacted Elkhart Police Department around 3:30 am and reported a 24 year old male walked into the hospital with a bullet wound to his leg.
The victim's injuries were non-life threatening.
This case remains under investigation.
