One injured in Cass County crash Sunday

The Cass County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a personal injury crash at the intersection of Cassopolis Road and Mason Street at approximately 11:12 a.m. Sunday morning.
Deputies say 29-year-old Erin Conrad of Elkhart was driving eastbound on Mason Street when she allegedly failed to stop at the intersection.
Her vehicle collided with another vehicle traveling northbound on Cassopolis Road driven by 68-year-old Linda Smous of Mishawaka.
Smous was removed from her vehicle and transported to a local hospital.
Deputies say the crash remains under investigation but alcohol does not seem to be a factor at this time.
