One injured in two-vehicle crash

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Cass County Sherriff's Officer reports that Deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of M-60 and M-40 around 8:46 p.m. on March 13.

Deputies say a car driven by a 26-year-old Niles woman was traveling East on M-60 when she rear-ended a semi-truck that was stopped at a stop sign. The semi-truck was being driven by a 61-year-old male of Petersburg Michigan who was also heading East.

The driver of the car was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital by ambulance for injuries sustained in the crash, the semi-truck driver was released from the scene.

The crash currently remains under investigation.
