One killed in crash on Colon Road

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. - A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Colon Road in Colon Township Saturday morning, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office.
At 5:30 a.m., 67-year-old Willie Kosachuk was driving west on Colon Road, just east of Bennett Road, when he crossed the center line while navigating a curve and hit an oncoming vehicle, reports said.
Kosachuk was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, according to deputies.
