One last day of sunshine awaits Michiana today as mostly sunny skies accompany highs in the mid 80s and slightly muggier conditions than early this week. Most of the area bottoms out in the mid 60s tonight with increasing cloud cover as low pressure develops and moves in from the west. Expect showers most of the day tomorrow from the morning commute on with highs topping out near 80F. As the subsequent warm and then cold front move over the area Thursday night into Friday, showers will be complemented by scattered thunderstorms as well with heavy rain being the most noticeable component. The thunderstorm risk diminishes Friday night, but light rain will linger into Saturday as highs tumble back down into the upper 70s for most of the weekend.
