One life claimed in overnight crash in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS -- A two-vehicle crash is under investigation after a Monrovia man was killed, according to Indiana State Police.

ISP says at approximately 11:30 p.m. Nov. 10, emergency responders reported to the area of I-74 and I-465 on the west side of the city regarding a crash with serious injuries.

911 operators were told by witnesses that a pick-up truck overturned on the ramp -- leaving a driver in critical condition.

At the scene, one of the drivers was discovered unconscious.

Life-saving efforts were performed on 64-year-old Charles Ross of Monrovia, Indiana but he died at the scene, authorities say.
