MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. - A Plymouth man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in the 5000 block of Michigan Road on Wednesday morning, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
Officials responded to the incident around 5 a.m. on Thursday morning.
Upon arrival, officials discovered that the driver of the vehicle, 44-year-old Shane C. Bolinger, was unresponsive. Medical professionals performed life saving measures, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was traveling north on the road before crossing the center lane and striking a brick mailbox.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, but officials believe narcotics may have played a role in the crash.
