Besides a few isolated showers or thunderstorms early this evening, Michiana should be dry tonight. Temperatures will fall through the 90s and 80s this evening before bottoming out in the lower 70s overnight.
More showers and thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon. Highs should still make it back into the 90s for the 8th straight day in South Bend. Our best chances for thunderstorms arrive Thursday night, with showers and storms likely throughout Friday. Because of the clouds and storms, highs will be about 10 degrees cooler on Friday compared to Thursday. Saturday will be mostly sunny, but less humid with highs in the middle 80s. A few more thunderstorms could return to Michiana late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. Skies will turn partly cloudy later Sunday afternoon with highs in the 80s again. I expect the 90s to come back by Tuesday of next week.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 73.
Thursday: Partly sunny, hot and humid. PM isolated showers/storms. High 92.
Friday: Scattered thunderstorms likely. High 83.
Saturday: Mostly sunny and less humid. High 85.
