One of LaPortes most wanted arrested in Alabama

LAPORTE, Ind. – A sex offender who had been wanted by the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office for failure to register has been arrested in Birmingham, Alabama.
The LaPorte Sheriff’s Office was notified by the US Marshals Service that Maurice Ward had been located and arrested in Birmingham Tuesday.
Ward is wanted for a parole violation and for failure to register.
