CASS COUNTY, Mich. – One person has been arrested in connection to a drug bust in Ontwa Township, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team conducted a search warrant in the 24000 block of North Shore Drive and detained three people at the address before beginning to search the premise, reports said.

While searching, detectives found a large amount of methamphetamine and methamphetamine paraphernalia, reports said.

A 40-year-old woman was arrested and faces the following charges, police said:

• Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
• Possession of methamphetamine
• Maintaining a drug house

This investigation is still ongoing.
