19-year-old woman killed in crash on Dragoon Trail

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A 19-year-old woman was killed in a crash on Dragoon Trail Friday morning, according to the St. Joseph Fatal Crash Team. Another woman was seriously injured in the crash.
Police said a Buick was traveling eastbound on Dragoon Trail, east of Logan when the right side of the vehicle went off the roadway. The driver then lost control of her vehicle and struck a Toyota Highlander in the westbound lanes, FACT said.
The crash happened at 8:44 a.m.
The driver of the Buick, 19-year-old Macayla Marie Teeter, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
FACT is investigating.
