One person killed in house fire

One person was killed and another person escaped a house fire on Yellow Street in Francesville.
The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office received a call about the fire just before 2 a.m. on Thursday.
When firefighters from the Francesville Volunteer Fire Department arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames.
Deputies spoke with a person who said they were able to escape the house, but another person was not.
Firefighters located one victim inside the residence.
The incident remains under investigation.
