One person recovering after fire in South Bend home

 One person is recovering from smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a South Bend home on Saturday.

Firefighters with the Clay Township Fire Department responded to a house in the 54000 block of 27th Street Saturday.

Fire crews say the fire was in the home's garage and was causing smoke to fill the home.

All of the residents and pets inside the home were able to get out of the house safely.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
