One person shot on Eckman Street

South Bend Police confirm they are responding to the scene of a shooting near 115 E. Eckman St. in South Bend.
That's near the intersection with Michigan St. on the south side of the city.
Police on scene say the victim was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
