One shot on 11th Street in Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- UPDATE: Police say witnesses from the scene were interviewed and the victim was taken to an area hospital, where as of 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, they were listed as being in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing, and police say the shooting was an isolated incident.

Authorities say a person(s) of interest has been identified.

The Mishawaka Police Department has not publicly announced who those people are.

Police say they are giving the parties time to come to the department of their own free will for an interview about what happened.

ORIGINAL STORY: One person is injured after a late-night shooting on West 11th Street.

Police were called to the 300 block just before 11:15 p.m. on Monday.

One person was found shot. Their exact condition is still unknown.
