One stabbed and one arrested in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- On Thursday evening, at approximately 7:13 p.m., patrol officers were sent to a reported stabbing within the Castle Point Apartment complex in South Bend.

Officers found a 41-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. 

The man was transported to a hospital by ambulance for his injuries and is currently listed in stable condition.

The suspect involved in the incident was immediately taken into custody at the scene by the patrol officers. 

Several witnesses and the suspect are currently being interviewed by detectives.
