BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- At 9:03 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to the report of shots-fired in the area of Norton Avenue and East Napier Avenue, according to the Benton Township Police Department.
Upon Arrival, police discovered a white Jeep on the side of the road, with a 30-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman laying on the ground outside of the vehicle.
While the man was unharmed, police say that the woman suffered a single gun shot wound to the head and was pronounced dead on the scene.
