SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Empowering moms and babies through education and resiliency, the ‘Ember’ program has provided free maternal health classes and postpartum support group meetings at the Beacon Resource Center over the past year.
This evening, a group gathered to celebrate the program’s journey, hear testimonials from other moms, share the successes of the past year, and discuss what the future may hold.
Ember meets every Tuesday evening from 5 to 6:15 p.m. for educational classes, and on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month for postpartum peer support groups.
