The University of Notre Dame announced a new clear bag policy for all reserve-ticketed events at Notre Dame Stadium, Purcell Pavilion and the Compton Ice Arena last year.
Fans will be allowed to bring a clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag no larger than 12"x6"x12" or a one-gallon Ziploc or Hefty bag. If the bag has a logo, it must be no larger than 4 inches by 3.4 inches.
A small clutch, 4.5"x6.5" with or without a strap is permitted.
Exceptions will be made for approved medical bags or medical equipment, but the bag or equipment will be inspected.
Prohibited items include:
- Purses larger than a clutch (4.5"x6.5")
- Coolers
- Briefcases
- Backpacks
- Fanny packs
- Drawstring bags
- Luggage
- Computer bags
- Camera bags
- Binocular cases
- Diaper bags
Additional permitted items include seat cushions 16"x16, binoculars and cameras without cases. Blankets are permitted but will be subject to search.
If you bring a prohibited item, you will be asked to return the item to your vehicle, room or home, or a vendor will be available to ship the items at cost.
