In Indiana, 42.5% of women will experience physical violence, sexual violence or stalking in some point in their lives. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and ABC57 is interviewing experts within the community about signs on domestic violence and how to help those in need.

Dr. Steve Gerber, ophthalmologist at the Advanced Ophthalmology of Michiana, spoke with ABC57 on the signs of child abuse and how he handles domestic violence in his practice.
