Organization offers $15 spaying or neutering for cats in the 46614 zip code

One Michiana organization is providing spaying and neutering services for free-roaming cats of the 46614 zip code for $15. 

The Meow Mission says the fee will also cover rabies vaccinations, parasite treatment, and an 'eartip' that signifies the animal has been fixed.

"With 80% of kittens coming from outside cats, spay/neuter is the only way to proactively reduce the free-roaming cat population,” said Jodi Aker, President of the Meow Mission.

The services offered were made possible by a grant from an anonymous donor.
