Original Mouseketeer Annette Funicello dies

LOS ANGELES — One of Disney's original Mouseketeers has died.
Annette Funicello died at the age of 70 from complications due to multiple sclerosis.
The Walt Disney Company says she battled the disease for more than 25 years.
Funicello was chosen by Walt Disney himself to be a member of the "Mickey Mouse Club" TV show.
She went on to have a movie and singing career after the show ended..
