St. Joseph County, IN -- Thursday night the community gathered to remember a little boy from Osceola who died this week.
The vigil was held at Twin Branch Park. Around fifty people came, lit candles and shared memories and poems about Keegan Wolf.
Seven-month-old Keegan was taken to the hospital with suspicious injuries on Saturday. Because of the severity of the injuries, he was taken to Riley Hospital in Indianapolis, where he died on Tuesday night, according to the St. Joseph County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors say no charges have been filed yet while Metro Homicide is continuing their investigation.
Vigil organizers say they are hoping to take the attention off of baby Keegan’s death and, instead, share memories to celebrate his life.
“He was always such a happy baby. I don’t think there was ever a time I saw him crying. Every time I saw him there was a smile on his face. He was so happy. He was so loved by everybody who knew him,” says family friend Angie Zima.
