More than 9,000 Mishawaka residents left without power for six hours Sunday

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka reports about 9,062 residents were without power on Sunday from 3:50 to 9:46 a.m. resulting from a faulty breaker.
City officials say a breaker at the 12th Street substation had an internal fault and no other equipment damage was found.
Other substations affected included 4th Street, Union Street, and Virgil Street.
Crews say they bypassed the faulty breaker and circuits were restored.
The city says outage time may have be different as some circuits were restored prior to 9:46 a.m.
