Overturned tractor-trailer causes power outage in Kosciusko County

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind.—A widespread power outage in Kosciusko County was caused by an overturned tractor-trailer on Thursday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office posted a photo of the tractor-trailer to Twitter saying that it had overturned Thursday morning on State Road 15 north of CR 700 S.

Large utility poles carrying high voltage electric lines were damaged, police said, causing a power outage.

S.R. 15 is closed to the north and south of the scene while crews work to restore the lines.
