Kids at Penn-Harris-Madison headed back to school on Wednesday morning. Many of them were excited to greet their teachers!
Students at Elsie-Rogers Elementary said there was a lot to be happy about on their first day.
Parents were happy too -- about the money they saved on school supplies!
"When I got here I asked them to give me a list so anything they didn't have, I could pick up, and they told me that all school supplies -- they provide here. Yeah, I've never heard of that... now there's going to be a swarm of people transferring into Elsie Rogers,” joked Andrew Jernigan.
As a single dad with three kids, Jernigan saved about $200 on supplies.
