SOUTH BEND, Ind.- It’s an opportunity to show your support for cancer research and enjoy a quick run before the today’s home game. The 2017 Game Day Chase is back.
This race gives the Kelly Cares Foundation an opportunity to bring the community and football fans together to help raise funds for cancer research and also other deserving initiatives .
About 1,000 race participants are anticipated at this Game Day Chase. Runners start and finish at Eddy Street Commons across from the Notre Dame campus.
The Harper Cancer Research Institute has investigators who are dedicated to conducting research that confronts the challenges of cancer.
The director of Harper, Dr. Sharon Stack, says that without the support of the Kelly Cares Foundation, their project would have just been another great idea. Stack adds it’s important to know that research cures cancer.
The Kelly Cares Foundation, now in its ninth year, has established itself as a playbook for hope.
The foundation's mission strengthens communities and inspires hope by investing resources to improve health and education.
