Paving work restricts section of Miami Street through June

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Traffic will be restricted on a section of Miami Street starting Monday for paving work expected to last through most of June, according to the City of South Bend's Department of Public Works.

Miami Street will be down to two lanes from Ireland Road to Calvert Street while crews begin reconstructing Americans with Disabilities Act curb ramps at intersections in the area.

The ramp work is part of a paving project planned for Miami Street.

Lane restrictions will be in place for the entire project, which is expected to wrap up by the end of June, weather permitting.
