NILES, Mich. -- Paw Paw's defense had been fantastic in their first two games, allowing only seven points per game. On Friday Niles' offense was slated to provide a tough challenge for the Red Wolves' defensive unit, but Paw Paw stood tall, and dominated on defense and offense, on their way to a 42-14 victory. Kaelin Tate found the end zone for Paw Paw three times in the first half, and the Red Wolves defense left Niles searching for answers.
After the game, Paw Paw head coach Dennis Strey says “We get after it, right? You saw it, like we told you, The strength of our team is that front seven. We are just out here, trying to get better every week, and that's what we're going to do."
Paw Paw will face Edwardsburg at home next Friday, and Niles will take on Otsego.
