Paw Paw resident killed after his truck struck a tree

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. -- A 57-year-old man from Paw Paw was killed in a crash on 24th Avenue Thursday afternoon, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation revealed a 2000 Chevrolet pickup was traveling westbound on 24th, west of M40, when the truck went off the road and struck a tree, deputies said.
The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
