MISHAWAKA, Ind. - A pedestrian has died after being hit by a train in Mishawaka Wednesday morning, according to dispatch.
A call came in just before 8 a.m. reporting the incident, which happened at the tracks near South Russell Avenue and West 6th Street.
Officers say an elderly man was the victim but have not identified him further.
Railroad traffic was paused during the investigation.
