Penn-Harris-Madison joins list of Michiana school districts closing November 19

MISHAWAKA, Ind.-- Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation has joined the growing list of school districts that will be closed on November 19.

PHM made the decision to cancel school on November 19 so that teachers and staff can participate in the Red for Ed Action Day, which is an event advocating for the support of teachers and funding for public education.

All 15 PHM schools will be closed on Tuesday but administrative offices will remain open.

The makeup day has been scheduled for the end of the school year, changing PHM’s last day of school to Thursday, June 4, 2020.
