Penn High School Academic Super Bowl: Ft. Wayne Bishop Dwenger Invitational
Finishing first in two subject areas and second in four others, the Penn High School Academic Super Bowl squads produced another strong performance at the 12 school Ft. Wayne Bishop Dwenger Invitational on Wednesday, March 13.
The topic for Academic Super Bowl across Indiana this season is "The Glory that was Greece".

In addition to Penn, other competing schools were Ft. Wayne Bishop Luers, Bluffton, Churubusco, Garrett, Leo, Ft. Wayne North Side, Ft. Wayne Northrop, Ft. Wayne Snider, Ft. Wayne South Side, Whitko and host Ft. Wayne Bishop Dwenger.
A milestone was reached for the Penn Kingsmen-Social Studies team when it recorded its 1,000th opponent defeated on Wednesday at Ft. Wayne Bishop Dwenger. The Kingsmen Social Studies squad since 1992 has an overall won-lost mark of 1,001-65-1.
Next up for Academic Super Bowl teams across Indiana is the Regional competition on April 16.
