Penn H.S. Academic Super Bowl teams win at 12-team invitational meet
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Winning five of the six areas of competition, the Penn High School Academic Super Bowl teams dominated the 12-team field at the Ft. Wayne Bishop Dwenger Invitational meet on Monday night.
The Kingsmen won titles in Social Studies, Math, Science, English and Interdisciplinary while finishing second in Fine Arts.
The topic for Academic Super Bowl across Indiana for 2012 is "Colonial and Revolutionary America".
Academic Super Bowl teams are made up of three competitors from each school competing at one time. Halfway through each round, substitutions are allowed but the captain must remain in the contest for the entire round.
Each round consists of 25 questions and the highest score wins.
