Penn Township trustee pleads guilty to two felonies

PENN TOWNSHIP, Ind. -- On Thursday, a Penn Township trustee, Jeff Dean, pleaded guilty to two felonies.
Dean is accused of putting thousands of dollars worth of personal purchases on his township credit card.
The state said he also overpaid his administrative assistant and girlfriend, Sarah Sharpe.
Dean pleaded guilty to misconduct and conflict of interest as part of the deal. The state dropped a theft charge.
Dean will be sentenced July 30th. Sharpe is set to be in court on August 8th.
