Periodic closures of US20 planned Thursday & Friday

The Indiana Department of Transportation says there will be periodic closures of US 20 between Pine Road and W. Linwood Boulevard on Thursday June 9 and Friday June 10.
The closures will be for approximately 20 minutes at a time while crews use a large crane to set nearly two dozen bridge beams for the US31/20 bypass bridge over US20/Lincolnway.
The area is just west of the South Bend International Airport.
The 20-minute closures will affect all eastbound and westbound lanes between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
There will also be periodic, rolling closures of the north and southbound lanes of the U.S. 31 bypass, at the bridge as the beams are turned and moved into place.
