PHM students return to school

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—Penn Harris Madison School Corporation students are heading back to school on Wednesday.
To kick off the new school year, PHM Superintendent Dr. Jerry Thacker discussed PHM’s initiatives, focus and highlights for the 2019-2020 school year, including bus safety.
Dr. Thacker will visit all 15 schools between Wednesday and Friday during his annual “First Day of School” visits.
To celebrate the first day of school, teachers at Horizon Elementary are dressing up as animals, park rangers and safari guides as a part of this year’s theme “Wild about going above and beyond.”
