GOSHEN, Ind. – The City of Goshen implemented a system that is helping non-English speakers through phone translators.
The city says that the goal of the system is to provide services to everyone.
“It does help to have employees in the city who are able to interact with people who speak Spanish and help them out,” Sharon Hernandez said, Communications Director for the City of Goshen. “I think it also helps spread the word that we are offering out services to everyone in the community.”
Nine translators are available for anyone who calls in, and the City of Goshen is hoping to increase that number.
