PHOTOS: Chemical Bank robbery suspect: Man or woman?
NILES, Mich. -- Police are scratching their heads, trying to catch a crook.
On Friday, around 11:30 a.m., a suspect entered the Chemical Bank on East Main Street.
The suspect gave the teller a note demanding money and threatening to blow up the bank if anyone called police.
The suspect then left the bank and was last seen walking north on 5th Street toward Sycamore St.
Was the bank robber a man or woman? Police aren't even sure.
In a press release, Niles Police called the suspect "an unknown Caucasian approximately 35 - 45 years of age, 5'5" - 5'8" in height, and 220 lbs."
The release ends by saying, "It is unknown if the suspect is male or female."
