Pierogi Fest announces 2021 event dates

Photo courtesy of Pexels WHITING, Ind.—After the festival was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pierogi Fest is returning to northwestern Indiana this summer.
The festival announced on its Facebook page that the event will take place on July 23, 24 and 25 of 2021 in Whiting.
According to the festival’s website, the event celebrates Eastern European food and culture with “a wacky familial twist.”
The festival features activities like the wacky Polka Parade, Mr. Pierogi and friends, food vendors, specialty arts and crafts vendors, a beer garden, games and more.
Whiting is located about 20 miles from downtown Chicago and about 80 miles from downtown South Bend.
