Pilots concerned over closing control towers

OSHKOSH, Wis. — Control towers across the country are gearing up to close as soon as April 7 as part of the federally mandated budget cuts.

Nationwide, there are nearly 150 shutting down, including one in Oshkosh, Wis.

That means pilots now have to be their own air traffic controller in some cases.

Pilots say this means less help in the cockpit.
