Plan to revamp U.S. 31 weeks away

ST. JOE COUNTY, Ind. -- A plan to revamp U.S. 31 has been in the works for years, demolition of homes and businesses along the highway is weeks away.
INDOT is in the process of acquiring dozens of homes and businesses between the bypass, and Kern Road. Many of these buildings were already purchased by the state.
Some people living in the road's path say they're frustrated because they haven’t been told who's staying and who has to go.
