Indiana State Police troopers and the Huntington County Sheriff's Department responded to an accident involving a small plane that struck a pickup truck.

The accident happened around noon at the intersection of US224 and SR5 just outside of the city of Huntington.

The plane was attempting an emergency landing when it struck the back of the stopped pickup truck.
