Planned Parenthoods of Indiana and Kentucky merging

Kentucky and Indiana are combining their Planned Parenthood chapters to increase their efforts.

The women's health non-profit will merge the state chapters July 1st.

The Associated Press says the group will be known as Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky.

Twenty-eight health centers across both states will offer health care services.

This type of merger is not new for Planned Parenthood. The group once had 200 affiliates nationwide. That number has since dropped to just 73.
