ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, August 31, 2024
Our pleasant Labor Day weekend continues. Clear skies are expected tonight with the humidity falling as well, which will make lows fall into the lower 60s. Sunday will be very nice across the region with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s. The main weather story for the rest of the holiday weekend will be the choppy conditions on Lake Michigan for Sunday. Waves of 5 to 7 feet are likely all of Sunday, and waves will be near 3 feet on Labor Day. Stay out of the water through Monday at least. Labor Day itself also looks pleasant in the upper 70s with mostly sunny skies. We warm back into the 80s by Wednesday with humidity briefly returning Thursday. It will be warm Thursday, back in the mid 80s, but a cold front moves through on Friday bringing showers and a bigger cool down next weekend. Highs could be in the 60s next Saturday, September 7th as fall slowly takes over.
Tonight: Clear. Low 61.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, pleasant. High 77.
Labor Day: Mostly sunny. High 77.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. High 78.
