Smoke still lingers in Michiana, though concentration is expected to continue to drop through the day, likely getting into the low Moderate range through tonight. An Air Quality Alert is still in effect for our area, and will be until midnight tonight. Besides the haze, it is going to be a fairly nice day, temperatures just above average, partly cloudy skies, one of the first truly "summerlike" weekends here in Michiana. The mild trend continues tomorrow, though we do have a higher chance of the showers, mostly in the early morning hours, remnants of showers that are going to pass through tonight. Overnight shower chances continue into Monday night, with a slight cooling trend into the middle of the week. Wednesday expects a warm up, highs getting into the 80s. Rain chances peak again going into next weekend, likely widespread showers Friday and Saturday.
