Plenty of sunshine today; rain tomorrow

Clouds will be moving out through mid-morning and we see plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures today. Be sure to get outside and enjoy because clouds move in again tonight to set up rain showers starting around 7 to 8 AM tomorrow. Freezing rain is even possible early on Monday as temperatures will be below freezing. Expect showers throughout the day, switching to a light wintry mix overnight into early January 1st, which is not ideal for any New Year’s Eve plans. The first couple of days of 2019 look cold with some L.E. snow chances Tuesday & Wednesday before skies clear.

Today: Sunny by mid-morning. High of 36.

Tonight: Mostly clear with quickly increasing clouds. Slight chance of rain/freezing rain late. Low of 29.

New Year’s Eve: Cloudy with rain showers. High of 40.

New Year’s Day: Cloudy to mostly cloudy with a chance of L.E snow showers. Highs in the low 30s and slowly falling throughout the day.
